I think I know what you’re talking to, and part of me wants so bad to write this to the nitwit:

“If you think the way she’s been talking to you is ‘rude,’ you’ve clearly been incredibly privileged to have everyone cater to your whims so carefully throughout your life. I’m jealous!

Or, you were invoking the ‘irrational woman’ stereotype to discredit her and raise your side of the argument up as the ‘rational’ and ‘logical’ side since you don’t actually have any better argument, which is far more rude than someone engaging you in a conversation where they disagree with you.

So what is it? You privileged or rude?”
