The narrative that misogynistic men will one day be punished (???) with daughters that will show them the error of their sexist ways is literally placing men’s emotional burden onto a girl that’s not even born yet. From day one girls are conditioned to carry the weight of men’s sexism.
Especially when there’s an element of disturbed hope that something terrible will happen to the daughter for the sake of the man’s personal development, a la “when you have a daughter and she experiences sexism …”, and even worse, “when you have a daughter and she’s sexually harassed/assaulted/raped …” which is a real thing I have heard someone say.
