I spent this afternoon on the sofa watching movies, eating spring rolls, and drinking tea (ok, maybe also a sneaky glass of wine), how about you?

Churr! Well, one entire wall of this flat is a giant floor to ceiling glass window so that helps considerably, also the filter *may* have paled me out a bit, but not much, lol! Natural light: it’s the best.
I watched Gone Girl and Snow White and the Hunstman. Picked them up cheap yesterday when I was meant to be getting groceries. I liked them both, got me thinking about the roles women play/are expected to play/are forced to play to get by. It wasn’t a theme I consciously thought of, I’ve just wanted to see both for a while but haven’t had the chance. And also, y’know, they’re just pretty to watch. Intense at times, though.
It was definitely Intense Lady Rivalry movie afternoon at my place: my flatmate got home from work and was like “do you want to watch Black Swan?” I passed on that one, ha!
Haven’t seen Black Swan or Gone Girl (should I?), but I’ve seen Snow White and the Huntsman. Other than Charlize, who had a decent role, I was unimpressed. I couldn’t get over how few lines Snow White got and how myyyystical they made her. Mostly the lines thing. Like, one of your title characters hardly speaks? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ (It’s been a while)
