This drove me crazy for a while, because I can do it- but I didn’t know what it was and I couldn’t figure out how to describe the rumbling sound in my ears. It usually happens when I shut my eyes super tight. Glad to see that I’m not alone, and that there’s a good explanation of what it is!
You mean to TELL me that hearing a sound like rocks rolling down a faraway mountain when you squeeze your eyes shut is NOT a universal experience?
HOLY SHIT.
wait, not everyone can do this?
This is so loud sometimes that when I yawn or squeeze my eyes closed particularly hard, I actually can’t hear anything else. I had no idea this wasn’t a universal thing.
