sexologist:
I’m trying not to have a conniption but I am. Tumblr logged me out of my blog account for a password update, and then to log back in forced me to send myself an automated confirmation email- which it sent to my outdated Feminique email address login that I can’t access. No access to email = no confirmation = no more A Day in the Life of a Sexologist.
Their answer thus far has been “It’s a bummer, but don’t stress too much. You can always create a new account and start having fun all over again”.
Um, no. I’m not losing my 15,000 followers, and I’m not losing 6+ years of original writing. That writing, by the way, between my rants about sex education rights, sexual shaming, pleasure double standards, censorship, and sexual violence vis a vis viral posts on the Penn State abuse case, UCSB shooting, and that trip to the police station, have been transformative and literally life saving for many people, and I’m going to be very very unhappy if that blog is taken from me/us. 😖😖😖😫
So far, as you can see, I still have access via the app, but if/when they log me out of here too for the password update, I’ll be SOL. I’ll try to post all my thoughts on life and sex ASAP before I can’t anymore. 😢😢😢😭
