!!! it’s HOT and AMAZING and I’m especially taken with the vintage woodcut feel to it. LOVE!!
My fandom blog is typically not nsfw (okay let’s be real, sometimes the language is nsfw) so I’m posting to my non-fandom/personal blog BECAUSE ITS BEAUTIFUL and makes me feel thiings!
Re: the discussion on pr.0nn/spam bots… because their names are often similar. This is my block list. Maybe a third of these are just spam/advertisement blogs. The rest are ppr.0n blogs. I think I saw one name of an actual person I probably blocked at the bottom. This is out of control, and @staff should do something about this soon. Please.
At the VERY LEAST, find a way that we can block these blogs without ever having to visit their freaking pages. As others have pointed out, it literally risks exposing people who shouldn’t be seeing this stuff viewing it when we have to actually go to the page to block. Though it would be fan-diddely-tastic if ya’ll could just find a way to filter these blogs out much, much better.
Thanks to a mutual for showing me how to find this.
@staff this is what my inbox looks like right now!!! Do something about these damn porn bots. It is obnoxious!!!
(I would delete the post in question, but seriously if I can find someone @staff who would actually investigate where this is coming from and put a stop to it, I’d like to have evidence for them about what is happening.)
Okay, I wanted to reblog this post with a screenshot of blogs I have blocked. I know when I first started using the block function on Tumblr that I could see who I had blocked. I Googled how to ‘unblock’ people, and all the top links indicate you should be able to go to your settings > account > ignored users. But the ‘ignored users’ is no longer there on both my computer and mobile. I know there could be any assortment of reasons that they removed this function—all of which I can’t help but think are shitty—but it certainly feels like they just don’t want people to be able to see just how massive this problem is. Because I block one to three of these fucking blogs a week… on both my blogs. Ughgh
Thanks for the suggestions, but I literally would have to block a flood of over 50 accounts in about a 4-6 hour time frame. That’s a huge pain in the ass, and also not something I can do while my child is awake because most of the accounts load explicit photographic content in their headers.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply you should block them all. >.< I just wanted to add my block list as a demonstration of how big of a problem this is as I’m sure my activity feed would look the same if I wasn’t blocking sooo manny porn blogs. Alas I cannot though because Tumblr won’t let me see my block list -_-
