1. What’s the most depressing movie you’ve ever watched?

I like a lot of dark movies, but I remember being pretty crushed after Dancer in the Dark. I can watch a character suffer a lot if I feel like there’s a point at the end, but it didn’t seem like there was.

8. Which book would you like to see adapted into a film?

The Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce. High fantasy, magic, battles, knights, an awesome gender-norm-defying girl hero. They’d be great.

Any of the Tortall books! Though it could be a great franchise to do them all! Omg, I love those books so much! And I think they’d adapt really well to movie! 

I think so too! I did read some of her other books, but I don’t remember any of them as well as the Lioness Quartet ones. I still have my copies of them from when I was around 10 or so. They were some of the first books that made me want to write my own stories.

I remember reading somewhere that Tamora Pierce been approached about film adaptations but isn’t interested for some reason. I think they’d be great, though.

I feel like she’d want a lot of control. How many book adaptations have turned out well when the author Hasn’t been involved? Honestly, I am kind of afraid what Hollywood would do with it unchecked.
