not to sound like a crazy sjw but parents putting little girls in frilly dresses/lavish clothes and telling them not to run, climb, play in dirt, etc lest they ruin their outfits or somebody look up their skirts is one of the most direct ways we as a society teach girls that they are only ornamental and cut their childhoods short
Omg as a preschool teacher this drives me nuts! I see three year olds all the time sitting on the curb just watching their friends play and have fun. And if I ask what’s up they’re like “Mommy says not to get my pretty dress dirty.” And in my head I’m like I’m 25 and I get my outfits dirty all the time soooo what’s your moms problem???
Jesus let your kids play and get messy. But some sturdy play clothes and let hem go nuts. Change them into nice clothes literally two minutes before going to church or whatever. All children deserve to climb and run and play, not just boys.
