I literally cannot believe people are mad at Natalie Portman for calling out the all-male directors nominee because it appears to have mildly perturbed Guillermo del Toro

I guess feminism ends when you feel the nonexistent slight against your woman-fucks-fish movie?  

I love his work. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have male privilege and there’s nothing wrong with calling out male privilege just because he happens to be one of the all male directors.
