lioness–hart:

HEY if you are in the southeastern US and you got snow yesterday:

-as temps drop back below freezing tonight, remember that wet patches on the road aren’t wet. THAT IS ICE. PLEASE GO SLOW AND LEAVE AT LEAST 3 CAR LENGTHS OF SPACE BETWEEN YOU AND THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU.

– if your road did not get plowed, all the snow that everyone drove over all day is now compacted and frozen into ICE!! PLEASE GO SLOW!!

– if your road got salted, it’s possible it could refreeze if temps get cold enough. Usually they don’t here, but JUST GO SLOW AND BASICALLY ASSUME EVERYTHING IS ICE AND YOUR CAR IS A GIANT GO KART OF DEATH AMONG THOUSANDS OF OTHERS

– basically just don’t drive until way after you think you’re safe to.
