This is the best thing I’ve seen all day

this isn’t

a positive thing

this is an act of transmisogyny

they’re refusing to honor a trans woman’s pronouns.  they’re using gender neutralism to actively misgender her.  this isn’t a step toward trans equality, this isn’t going to be used to create an inclusive space for gender neutral delegates, it’s republicans refusing to acknowledge a trans woman’s identity.  

trans women have been telling u all that this tactic of convenient gender neutralism is transmisogyny.  republicans are saying “if i have to call you a woman i’d rather call you nothing at all”

i hate that on tumblr dot com people will look at something like this and go “NICE, A WIN FOR TRANS PEOPLE”

Makes me think of the push for gamers to call other players gender neutral terms in Overwatch. It was pretty obviously a tactic to prevent being mistaken for a woman when playing a female character- given about 50% of the characters are women.

And still all dudes refer to me as a guy in game when I’m almost always playing a female character.

These republicans are probably only going to use ‘delegates’ in one instance and it’s not going to be pretty
