Just so y’all know, Trump has never been afraid to call people out by name or drag people through the mud when it comes to issues that insult him personally, no matter how inconsequential. We know this.
So don’t take his “both sides” comments to mean that he put forth some cerebral, careful response. If he actually have a fuck, we would know.
Trump’s “both sides” comment means that he either actively sympathizes with white supremacists or seeks to avoid alienating them, though honestly at this point there’s no practical difference between the two.
