It would also be great if y’all could recognize that the military has historically been a harbor for the poorest Americans to ensure their survival, despite the irony of that sentence – my own uncle joined the Air Force so he could escape extreme poverty.
The military is the nation’s largest employer for transgender Americans, a population which suffers from astronomical homelessness (19%, almost 1 in 5). Your “allyship” means jack shit if you cheer for us losing our biggest secure source of employment and transitionary healthcare.
