If you don’t give me more context, all im hearing is ‘queer people shouldn’t be snarky about the lack or representation and/or the invisibility of our communities which are pushed by straight people’
It sounds a lot like tone policing
Because the fact is that our stories aren so rarely being told. The stories we see are a huge string of het romances and experiences and frankly, yes. Hearing the same stories told over and over again is boring.
Come back to me when there are 10x the amount of queer stories/lives being recognized in media than straight ones
