I can’t deny it. I typed ‘seduced’ into the gif finder to get that. Now I need to pick Legends of Tomorrow back up!
I was looking for something good with Krysta Rodriguez but the gif selection was lacking. I found this:
but it was the opposite of what I was after. she’s still perfect though.
I don’t know her or what she’s from but she’s hella cute!!
Wednesday Addams on Broadway. also Ilse from Deaf West Spring Awakening, Ana from Smash, and currently Summer Henderson on the NBC parks and rec/office-style show Trial and Error.
I’m not familiar with any of those! I’m clearly out of the loop! I feel like I at least should know about that last one but I don’t! I’ll have to look it up.
Trial and Error is dorky and fun. Basically John Lithgow’s wife is murdered and everyone thinks he did it, and the town is pretty corrupt but in a goofy way, so this new york lawyer is hired to take his case.
Both Krysta and her dad John Lithgow are bisexual, although I don’t LOVE the way the show talks about it. There’s a woman who can’t recognize faces, passes out when she sees something beautiful, and laughs uncontrollably when tragedy happens. the main lawyer dude is a new yorker trying to manage a case in a south carolina town where people are weirdly fixated on his “northeasterner” status–but, like, it’s never implied that it’s okay for them to act that way.
oh, and the defense’s headquarters/office is in a taxidermy shop.
(Smash was a short-lived show about Broadway musicals. Katharine McPhee, Jack Davenport, Debra Messing, and Christian Borle starred. It had its ups and downs.)
Oooh! I’ve seen ads for this like, twice. The premise seemed perhaps a bit too out there for me but I hadn’t heard anything else about it! Could still be a tad tough for me but that sounds so down the Bae’s alley we’ll probably give it a try! We’re kinda looking for a show like that anyway as we just finished rewatching Brooklyn 99 (for like the third time haha.) obviously we need fresh comedy material and damn if I don’t like watching shows with openly queer characters.
I’ve kind of reached that point where I’m just done with media that isn’t doing anything new. And I don’t mean like GofT ‘new’ ugh. Haha
