Never in all my days will I forget that white people from literally all different experiences let their thirst and acceptance for white supremacy send this country down the toilet by voting Tangerine and the Gang into the White House. And me and mine tried to save us. Black women tried.
When my kids ask me what the fuck happened I’m just gonna cross my arms and say “94%. Black women as a whole tried to save us at 94 damn percent. Meanwhile, everyone else was just experimenting with varying levels of “nah”
Don’t let history whitewash this election. When children are being taught about Trump’s presidency years from now they’ll try to pretend that it was the uneducated/poor who elected Trump. They’ll try to pretend that race had nothing to do with it.
White people from every background imaginable voted for Trump, they voted for white supremacy and they didn’t give a damn about the consequences. 94% of Black women tried to stop it. And I hope that everytime a history teacher has to cover this election they bring out those statistics
