If a couple major news sources were to zero in on intra-White House clashes and report on (even “rumored”) contention and disloyalty amongst Trump’s advisors on a daily basis, and spin it into a dominating narrative, it’d completely destabilize Trump’s administration. He’s more interested in and assigns greater value to what’s on television than all else.
