god damn but the relationship btwn anakin and padme in clone wars is so creepy and abusive it’s one thing they got VERY right

Also, she is like 5-10 years (or more) older than him. He was like 10 or maybe younger in the phantom menace, and she was a princess/queen, and was older than him, probably 20-25. Age differences can cause huge problems in relationships. Especially when the difference in age is a significant fraction of one of their ages.
Age differences aren’t always a problem but when it’s a teenager whose been unhealthily fixating on someone since they were a child and a fully grown adult then that is not going to be the basis for a good or healthy relationship that’s the basis for exactly the kind of unhealthy shitshow we saw in the films

I knew she was queen either way, the idea of a 14 year old being elected is crazy to me haha
