Oh my! This is tough. I’m still getting into the grove for complicated and nuanced head canons, so this would be tough. But omg an ask when I wasn’t specifically asking for them! What is this?? Coool. ^.^
Usagi Tsukino – Juliet
Mamoru Chiba – Romeo (Usagi talked him into it, because their love is the greatest…)
Ami Mizuno – One of those black suits with the skeletons on it. I’m thinking what Annie Eddison wears for her first Halloween episode. But the bones are textbook correct.
Rei Hino – Phoenix (Jean Grey). Beauty with an inner, firey rage. She even gets some hair gel/chalk to get a dark reddish color (no need to make it as blatantly red as Jean though. Makes it more Rei/personalized)
Makoto Kino – Kitty Pryde. Mostly because I was agonizing over this and finally noticed how her physical features are similar, she could get the idea along with Rei, and I think she’d like to emulate the small pretty X-Man girl.
Minako Aino – Oh man. I can’t resist. It’s probably not original. Aphrodite/Venus. Superstar among gods? That’s Mina! Only better that she goes by Venus!
Chibiusa – A Witch. Again, not super original, but I think she’d like the traditionally of it (do they have a Halloween in the silver millennium? She might enjoy doing a traditional Halloween thing) and it would incorporate Diana and/or Luna P
Setsuna Meioh – I’m really wishing right now that I knew more about Japanese history/mythology. I just see her doing something regal and accurate to it’s time. Like a prominent historical figure/healer/or goddess.
Michiru Kaioh – She and Makoto are apparently the most difficult to me. Definitely something elegant and fabulous. I almost wanted to say a mermaid of some sort, but I haven’t ever seen mermaid type things done in a way that Michiru would have the right kind of combination of fabulous + realistic. Okay fine. One of my first thoughts was a couples costume with her and Haruka of Anthy and Utena, but I hoped I could do better. But since I ended up chosing Haruka for an anime, I’m clearly setting a precedent where they sometimes recreationally watch it. Probably Haruka does, but when she started Utena, Michiru finally got interested enough to sit down and watch (mostly for Anthy). So yeah, Anthy, but the bride gown from the movie.
Haruka Tenoh – Ichigo from Bleach. I don’t actually know this anime very well, but I could see her enjoying dressing up as a boy and in something more Japanese, getting to hold a large looking blade and being a badass.
Hotaru Tomoe – I think she’d go as a witch along with Chibiusa
