I’ve been feeling really guilty about still having to reblog the links to my paypal, but here’s the thing:
1. my dad is in hospice 3 hours away and i really want to visit him when i can, while maintaining my own life in the city i live in.
2. my mom called me today in a panic saying that she and my brother were in a physical fight, but seeing as though she abused me for 17 years, i’m not very keen on believing her at all. my brother has barely responded to my text messages, and i need to go home to be with him and support him. again, home is 3 hours away.
3. poverty is the fucking pits. i try to help people where i can, and i have been so lucky to have people help me, oftentimes repeatedly. (i see y’all and i love y’all). i don’t think i deserve anyone’s help, but i am always so thankful when i get it.
4. i won’t get paid until the end of this month, and i’ve been trying to make one month’s income last for two months already. a month is a long time when you’re poor. so if you would like to help me not have to skip paying my gas & power & car insurance for the next two months, that would be so so so appreciated.
5. ultimately, i want to live in a world where people don’t feel ashamed to ask people for help or support or love, so i might as well try to lessen mine and other people’s shame & stigma about asking for help in the meantime.https://www.paypal.me/shakethecobwebs

My sister called awhile ago to say my dad’s nurses are giving him morphine and that they’ll send a doctor out soon to see if he’s ready to pass. I don’t know how immediate (or far away) his passing might be because we’ve spent the past two years being told he could die any day now. She also said they don’t have food to eat, so I have to find a way to afford groceries for my dad, my nephew, my sister, and her boyfriend.
Any help is appreciated.

Soooo basically, if I can find a way to get $100 to take me into the middle of July, I will be completely set for the summer. I have two more bill cycles to go through before I get my financial aid my job starts back up in August, but I should be getting paid in about 3 weeks for a job I did earlier in the summer, and my mom owes me money, so I’m hoping she sends that soon. (The last check she gave me bounced, so it left me without that money + it charged me for the check bouncing even though it wasn’t my fault.) I just need one last push to get me through!
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me survive this summer! It means the world to me that y’all care enough to send out all the different kinds of support you’ve been sending out. It has been especially helpful given the many family emergencies, trauma, and grief I’ve been coping with lately. It really means the world to me.
