Totally agree with everything except for the first pic because literally everybody gets shit on for tattoos and piercings because they are “unprofessional” and apparently make everyone look like a homeless drug addict, a concept i have never understood.

okay but the artist wasn’t talking about professionalism but the words that get applied to the aesthetic. of course both those people would be called unprofessional in a conservative work environment, but white people are still praised for the same style. example: people shit on nicki minaj for her “crazy wigs” when she used to do different colours, yet not say shit to katy perry.
