I don’t know how many friends I’ve let drift away over the years. If they try to come back into my life, and I feel like I miss them, I’ll let them in, but plenty I’ve just casually said hi to and let them go their way again. Though generally, once I’ve removed you from FB, you’re gone. Haha. Totes alright to burn bridges, but no one can blame someone for not want to. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah, I set this bridge on fire myself, not by being awful but by telling them explicitly not to contact me ever again. It was pretty awful, but we were super close and even though it was absolutely the right thing to do it’s left a big emotional hole in my life so the temptation, though brief, was very real.
